Poland applies for EUR 43.7 billion from the SAFE programme

According to the head of the MON, the funds are to be allocated to key areas of modernization of the Polish army: the acquisition and improvement of modern drone and anti-dron systems, the strengthening of the national arms industry, and the financing of the Programme of the Shield of the East, a long-term task to strengthen border protection and critical infrastructure in the east NATO and EU flanks.
