On Tuesday, the government adopted a resolution on redirecting funds from the National Recovery and Enhancing opposition Plan (KPO) to Security and Defence Fund (FBIO).

The funds of the safety and Defence Fund will be allocated to infrastructure and sectors related to dual-use products and technologies (e.g. safe communication systems). The Fund besides covers safety investigation and development, modernization of military companies and safety and cybersecurity, especially for local governments. FBIO beneficiaries may include local government units, enterprises (including State Treasury companies) and technological units, and consortia of these entities.
‘The appropriations for the defence and safety programme under the Fund will be transferred in preferential form, low-interest loans or part-mortal capital investments, depending on where and how they will be invested", says MFiPR.
