Poland on a leash

This is not a dispute over equipment or whether credit is "bad" is simply a dispute over control of decisions. Poland bought arms from USA and Korea on a national debt !!! Without political conditionality and without the hazard of stopping measures by an external decision. SAFE is simply a debt with the supervision of the European Commission, milestones and a real impact on the procurement structure. This is simply a fundamental difference that SAFE's defenders consistently do not address. To ridicule the hazard of course, interoperability or deadlines is to escape the meaning. The modernization of the Polish Army must be controlled in Warsaw, not accounted for in stages in Brussels.
