Poland at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in fresh York

The 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly was held from 23 to 29 September in fresh York City (USA). It was attended by advanced representatives of many countries. The Polish delegation consisted of respective politicians, but the most crucial of them were 2 – president Karol Nawrocki (42 L) and Deputy Prime Minister and abroad Minister Radosław Sikorski (62 L). They both gave speeches in which they raised matters concerning current political and social events in the world. The subject of this session was: "Together better: 80 years and more for peace, improvement and human rights". These meetings are held annually in September and last 2 weeks. On October 24, 1945, after six years of planet War II, the United Nations Charter came into force. This is how the UN was born, which is simply a very crucial institution for the planet due to the fact that it works for the good of people. Its secretary-general is presently Portuguese António Guterres (72 l) who will hold this function for the next 5 years. The organization belongs to 193 countries.
