The Polish Ministry of abroad Affairs will support Ukrainian armed forces with $100 million to buy arms – announced on Thursday the head of diplomacy Radosław Sikorski. The aid package will consist of military support and the acquisition of American weapons. Sikorski besides commented on media reports of "secret negotiations" between Russia and the US on the end of the war in Ukraine.

During his visit to Brussels on Thursday, November 20, Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski announced a $100 million aid package for Ukraine, which will be financed from the Ministry of abroad Affairs budget. The money will be used, among others, to acquisition American weapons for Ukrainians.

Sikorski pointed out that the safety of Europe will depend on how the war in Ukraine will end.

The head of the MFA went to Brussels on Wednesday to present on Thursday to EU ministers detailed information on the diversion acts which took place this week on the Polish railway. The day before, Sikorski besides met NATO Secretary General Mike Rutte.

Sikorski comments on reports of Russian-American peace plan for Ukraine. "We request to be active in these decisions"

Prior to the gathering with the heads of the European Union's ministries, the Deputy Prime Minister commented on reports of a 28-point peace plan which the US prepared together with Russia without Ukrainian participation.

"Of course, as Europe we request that these decisions be included. And in my opinion, it is not the ability to defend the victim that should be limited, but the aggressor's ability to aggression" - said Sikorski.

The Politico portal reported about this plan on Wednesday. According to the origin of the service, the treaty contains "far-reaching concessions" to the Russian Federation at the expense of Ukraine. This includes the partial disarmament of the Ukrainian army and the dedication and acceptance of annexation of the east territories of Ukraine by Russia.
