The Citizen Reset Editorial Office signed the appeal of Polish and Ukrainian media to politicians and societies of both countries to support each another and not succumb to manipulation. For a common future in which Poland and Ukraine can play a key function together in the European Union.
It is clear that antagonizing Poles and Ukrainians is in the interests of totalitarian Russia, which is our common enemy. And the enemy of the full European Union. Meanwhile, right-wing propaganda goes hand in hand with Russian narrative. They're frightening. results of an IBRiS survey for Radio ZET: among the supporters of the opposition (election of Law and Justice, Confederation, Confederation of the Polish Crown and organization Together) as much as 73% are against Ukraine's entry into the EU. Only 24 percent of people in this group are of a different opinion.
That is why it is essential to mobilise and activate all people with average and reasonable views so that we are louder than radicals - as Maciej Rogacewicz said in 1 of the Citizens' Reset programs.
Piotr Szumlewicz, the organizer of the drop in favour of placing a large billboard in Warsaw with the slogan "Poland and Ukraine on the same side" besides spoke on this issue. For this initiative he received the title "Friend of Ukraine". He presently runs another action, this time in favour of . These are examples of countering right-wing propaganda that we request as much as we can.

What can the media do? What can each of us do? What can politicians do? That's what we're talking about on the week show.
Appeal of Polish and Ukrainian media
"The crisis, in which Polish-Ukrainian relations have late been found, concerns us seriously. That is why we decided to print a joint appeal in Polish and Ukrainian media.
Ukraine has been facing the criminal aggression of Putin for 12 years and has been a full-scale war for almost 5 years. He defends Poland and Europe against Russian imperialism.
This defence has its dramatic cost. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians and Ukrainians died or were injured, millions had to flee homes, a large part of the country is occupied, bombs fall on cities and villages all day.
Since the first hours of the Russian invasion together with European allies, Poland has been rushing Ukraine with assistance, providing military equipment, money, humanitarian aid and accepting nearly 2 million Ukrainian refugees. The scale of Polish solidarity with Ukraine in 2022 amazed the world.
Unfortunately, current tensions besides negatively affect attitudes towards Ukrainians and Ukrainians, who have become specified an crucial part of Polish society, and the perception of Poles by Ukrainians. This is an additional challenge for politicians, the media, civilian society and citizens of both of our countries.
We are aware of the tragic moments of Polish-Ukrainian past that politicians usage for their own purposes. Today, however, our common task is to halt Putinian Russia. It is time for serious discussions about the past, for confession of wines and reconciliation to come erstwhile Ukraine - with the support of allies - defeats the aggressor.
Russia has been spreading misinformation on a powerful scale for years and has been trying to drive a wedge between Poles and Ukrainians. The current crisis in relations makes it easier for her to act.
It is an hr of trial for Poles and Ukrainians. Our politicians should show wisdom and reason, search agreement and a way out of the crisis. Our societies should not be manipulated and should proceed to support each other. For a common future in which Poland and Ukraine can play a key function together in the European Union.
In 2013 in a joint statement, the president of Ukraine from 1994 to 2005 Leonid Kuczma and the president of Poland from 1995 to 2005 Aleksander Kwasniewski wrote: "On the eve of the 70th anniversary of the tragic events in Volyn, we ask our compatriots to do everything so that the commemoration of the victims of the old conflicts should not become a tool to inflame relations and squander the erstwhile achievements of the reconciliation process between our peoples."
Today this work rests on all of us"
