The Polish Armoured Group S.A. and BAE Systems signed an agreement to extend cooperation between companies. The agreement represents another step in the search for fresh projects in the ammunition area and beyond. Strengthening the partnership of 2 leading European arms companies is intended to support the area of safety and economical growth in Poland, the UK and another European markets. The aim of the cooperation is besides to search common export opportunities.
- BAE Systems is our partner, with whom we have established technological cooperation in 155 mm ammunition production. The agreement signed present aims to extend this cooperation to further areas that will strengthen our position in both the home and abroad markets. Together we will look for fresh projects in areas specified as land, drone and autonomous systems. We want to build a strong, partnership relation and benefit from the rich experience that BAE Systems brings. As the Polish Armed Forces Group, we strive to systematically strengthen our possible through partnerships with the largest armed companies in the world, and that is what BAE Systems is like," said Adam Leszkiewicz, president of the Management Board of PGZ S.A.

Through this cooperation, we will look for ways to accelerate changes in the key areas of common interests of both companies, as well as the improvement of a national industrial base by sharing knowledge. The goal of our cooperation is to strengthen already strong relations between our companies and further search effective ways to accomplish goals for Poland, the UK and NATO," said David Williams, Managing manager of BAE Systems.
The agreement confirms the will of both companies to establish strategical relations between the 2 leading European defence companies in many areas, for the benefit of the safety of Poland, the UK and the full of Europe. It covers a wide scope of possible opportunities for defence cooperation, including on land, air, sea, cyberspace and space.
In September 2025, BAE Systems was selected by the Polish Armed Forces Group as a supplier of 155 mm large caliber ammunition manufacturing technology. The selected offer is an innovative solution, enabling the introduction of a fresh product into the PGZ portfolio and the improvement of production capacity in individual ammunition facilities.
