The north of Poland was not safe either. Drone dropped close key units

A spokesperson for the Ministry of abroad Affairs Karolina Galecka provided fresh information about Russian drones that violated Polish airspace at night. As she reported, so far 7 drones and remains of the projectile of unestablished origin have been recovered. 1 of them fell at close scope from key units.

According to Gałecki, drones fell in the following towns:

Particles (Zamojski Province, Lublin Province),

Garlic (white, Lublin),

Wyryki Wola (Italy, Lublin),

Curve of Cologne (parczewski, Lublin),

Wohyń (Razzyński, Lublin),

Monks (Opoczyński, Łódź),

Oleśno (Pow. elbląski, Warmia-Masurian province).


In addition, the remains of an unknown rocket of origin were found in Wyhalew (parczewski, Lublin Voivodeship).

Russian drone besides fell in northern Poland

The case from the north of Poland is paying attention. As determined by PAP, as quoted by Radio Gdańsk, the facility fell to a field about 500 metres from the nearest buildings.

The mayor of Gronowo Elbląskie commune Marcin Ślęzak informed that nobody was hurt and no building was damaged. There are appropriate services working on the site that conduct investigations.

The drone has a light design, is white and resembles objects that were found in the Lublin region this morning. Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship Radosław Król announced a convening of the crisis staff. He besides noted that he remained in constant contact with the head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs Marcin Kierwiński.

The situation may be worrying, as Oleśno lies close 2 key units: the 22th Tactical Air Base in Malbork, where allied aircraft are besides stationed, and the North East Multinational Command Support Regiment in Elbląg, i.e. the structure liable for defending the alleged Suwałski Passage.

MFA calls d'affaires Russia

As we wrote on Temat.pl, Russian diplomat Andrei Ordas complained in an interview with Russian agency Ria Novosti that he was called upon by the Polish Ministry of abroad Affairs to "show up at the ministry's office at 12:00 (13:00 Moscow time)".

Deputy Ambassador of Russia says the charges are unfounded. MFA spokesperson Paweł Wroński in an interview with Virtual Poland confirmed that d'affaires of Russia was invited.
