North vs. South underwater. Korea Atomic Armour Race

This is at the same time a consequence to the North Korean initiative announced by Kim Jong-un in 2021 at the 8th organization convention on expanding atomic arsenals to nuclear-powered submarines. The fact is that Kim has again overtaken South Korea in this area, but both projects are in the implementation phase and will most likely take respective years to complete them. Both countries will surely increase their military capabilities, but the question remains whether, and if so, to what degree could this affect the balance of power on the Korean Peninsula?
