Political attack on Germany's acquisition of Chinooks [COMMENT]

Among German parliamentarians, the hazard of doubling the cost of the estimated €6 billion acquisition of 60 Boeing CH-47F Chinook Block II ER dense transport helicopters has spread. This became the basis for requests for a 3rd time to tender or at least request a competitive bid for Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion machines. Interestingly, the case is gaining momentum before the publication of the final value of the offer under the FMS (Foreign Military Sales) strategy planned for March.
