Yesterday's note attracted quite a few interest (3 times more readers than average), so I will stick to 1 more phrase.
We read: "Polish technology companies produce, among others, world-renowned precision semiconductor devices for detection of infrared radiation...".
This reminds me of the question “How many are you?” ‘One’.
The company is one-VIGO. We can be truly arrogant of it, and it was founded by prof. Józef Piotrowski of WAT, then beautifully developed by his boy Adam.
It is simply a pity that neither the name Piotrowski nor the name VIGO appeared on the poster.
