Polish salaries

They say that before the war the professors' salaries were aligned with the generals. present the prof. earns twice as much as the general.

But even more shocking news is that the professor's average wage is close to the national average. A fewer years ago, she was 50% higher, now she's close.

In China, the prof. earns 5 times the national average. In Germany, 3 times.

In Poland, as the only country in the world, the president is to be appointed as a professor. I'm inactive into Kwasniewski, so I'm not complaining. And my younger fellow professors? Not only that for the last 10 years, a individual has been ashamed (and will be for another 5 or more) to accept the nomination, then his/her earnings in a minute will be at the minimum wage level.

Recently, Deputy Minister of discipline Karolina Ziło-Pużuk at TokFM said that last year scientists' salaries were increased by 30%. They were increased on paper due to the fact that no of my friends and colleagues received any raise.

Every fewer months, we do a doctoral appointment. There are 20-40 people. All from India or Pakistan. Zero from Poland. So sometimes we accept individual from Asia, but it is simply a waste of money of a Polish or European taxpayer, due to the fact that after a doctorate these people leave for China, the USA, or Germany. Young intelligent Poles, seeing the misery in Polish science, like to do something else.
