Poles detained in Israel after taking the flotilla with humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip ended their visit with the Polish consul - said Minister of abroad Affairs Radosław Sikorski. He added that despite refusing to leave voluntarily, they should shortly return to the country.
"Consul of the Republic of Poland has just finished seeing our citizens detained in Israel" - stated in a communication on platform X Deputy Prime Minister and head of the MFA Radosław Sikorski.
As he emphasized, "Even though they refused to leave voluntarily, they should return to their homeland in the coming days". He besides called for the ministry to comply with warnings, including those on the risks associated with travel to countries in armed conflict.
