During the times of the People's Republic, a large part of the Polish shipbuilding manufacture worked for the needs of the USSR's merchant and war fleet. There are inactive rather a fewer units built in the People's Republic of Poland under the Russian war flag. Recently, the flag was raised again on a “secret” vessel from a Polish shipyard.
