Polish frigate in NATO team. aid or ballast? [ OPINION]

The sending of the ORP ship "General T. Kościuszko" to the NATO permanent squad is presented as a success. However, the Polish frigate will not one more time pass all the exams allowing to act within the NATO consequence Force due to the fact that it is not full functional. Thus, during the actual armed conflict, it would require protection and represent a ballast for the actually fighting ships.
