On December 19th at the Warsaw office of the large East of Poland, a unique event took place: the Cezary Łzebieński lodge celebrated its 15th anniversary. During the ceremony, the Lodge received congratulations from the large Women's Lodge of France, which emphasizes the global dimension of cooperation between Polish masons. “We will never quit our work for the advancement of humanity,” said the representatives of the Lodge on social media.

Gabriel Narutovich commemorated in Bielsko-Biała

The day before, on December 17, the large East of Poland's Lodge of Witelon organised a commemoration of the first president of Poland, Gabriel Narutowicz, murdered in 1922. The ceremony took place in Bielsko-Biała under the plaque commemorating the President. The monument stood there until 1939, demolished by the Germans during the occupation.

Narutowicz, as a prominent typical of Polish masonry, became a symbol of free-mural commitment to the construction of a modern Polish state. Putting the bond under the board is simply a motion resembling the values that the Masons have been trying to advance for centuries: equality, freedom and brotherhood.

Dynamic growth of masonry in Poland

In fresh months we have seen an increase in activity of Polish masonry. The 240th anniversary of the large East of Poland was late celebrated in Poznań. In early December, the Masons celebrated the 100th anniversary of the global Mixed Order of Le Droit Humain, organizing two-day celebrations.

Moreover, in October 2023 2 fresh Masonic lodges appeared on the map of Poland in east parts of Szczecin and Wrocław. These events attest to an expanding number of people curious in the ideas of freemasonry.
