The visit of the Czech Minister of Defence in Poland was connected, among others, with the issue of the acquisition by the Czech Republic of 24 F-35 aircraft. They flew with our pilots.. Jana Černochová besides spoke to Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish about Polish and Czech arms manufacture cooperation and security. – We will strive to strengthen the cooperation of the Polish and Czech defence industries. We believe that joint initiatives should be implemented, for example concerning the production of ammunition," said the Polish Minister of Defence at the conference. “We talked about a joint project: an ammunition initiative, due to the fact that we are inactive struggling with ammunition shortages,” added Černochová. As she pointed out, this is simply a long-term project, not only connected with the war in the east. “When the war in Ukraine is over, we will gotta make a stock of ammunition, and so build plants that will produce it in our countries”, stressed the Czech minister. She besides pointed out that cooperation with private companies is crucial in this area. "Today, we agreed with the Minister that we would address private entities willing to participate in ammunition production," she said. On the another hand, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz informed that he had asked the head of the supervisory board of the Polish Armed Forces Group to make urgent contact with Czech companies.
