Polish abroad Ministry spokesperson Maciej Wewiór responded to threats by Russian diplomatic ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, who warned of painful consequences following the decision to close the Russian consulate in Gdansk. Wewiór described her message as an effort to intimidate and pointed out that Poland is acting under the law.
