Police officers "without the right to extra leave"?

In a letter to Prime Minister Donald Tusk, the Ombudsman Marcin Wiązek informed him that they were asking him for the aid of police officers who were affected during this year's flood**. Their requests concern additional leave, which they would like to usage to remove the effects of the disaster. "The superiors do not agree to this due to the fact that the regulations apply only to employees and not to those who are in a business relationship," says the RPO's letter to the head of government.
