Police in the U.S. state of Illinois confirmed that a bomb was reported at the home of Pope Leo XIV's brother on Wednesday evening, but after the inspection it was established that the study was unfounded, reported the Hill portal today.
The fresh Lenox Police Station issued a message confirming the threat. She besides reported that after searching for dogs for which tracking dogs were used, evacuated residents of this and neighboring homes could return home and no 1 was injured by the incident.
"The case is inactive under investigation and the authorities are working to identify the origin of the notification. The submission of false applications of this kind is simply a serious crime and may consequence in criminal charges," the police reported.
