On Friday, the DCI informed the officers that they were carrying out legal acts at the premises of the Constitutional Court, in connection with the information provided by the Constitutional Court justice Anna Korwin-Piotrowska. A peculiar edition is underway in Polsat News.
"Police execute their statutory tasks respecting the independency of the Constitutional Court, acting within the limits of their powers. The activities of officials shall be aimed at carrying out statutory duties, in peculiar the legal work to guarantee safety and public order. They do not constitute interference with the activities of the Court as an institution" - emphasised KSP.
The police are on the territory of the TK, but as KSP reported on the X portal, it is not in the Constitutional Court building.
"In connection with the incidents that occurred in the assembly area in front of the seat of the Constitutional Court in Warsaw, including throwing dangerous objects at officers located in this place, police officers are taking steps to guarantee the safety of people on the ground and to reconstruct public order" - she noted.
She called for calmness, not taking actions threatening another people and obeying lawful orders from officers.
