At the end of August, the State Election Commission (PPP) decided to receive the Law and Justice subsidy. The financial study from the parliamentary elections was besides rejected due to many irregularities. The PiS grant will be reduced by PLN 10 million and the organization may be deprived of the subsidy for 3 years.
Following the decision of PKW, PiS politicians led by president Jarosław Kaczyński appealed to their sympathizers for contributions to the party. The head of the group stressed that the collection would not have been needed if it had not been for the "unlawful decision of the PKW" and the attack of the current government on the opposition.
– It is essential that opposition proceed to be in Poland and that there is simply a form, even if very weak, but nevertheless democracy, so that there is simply a chance during the presidential elections to change the course of events," Kaczyński said.
PiS MP Joanna Lichocka announced on Wednesday that over PLN 6 million had been transferred to the PiS account so far and that nearly 50 1000 people had made their contributions.
"The law and justice account has already received PLN 6 million. The average deposit is PLN 100. Over 49 1000 Poles have already paid in. Thank you!” she wrote on the X Lichocka platform.
Only all 5th Pole would pay money to the party
