We have not only 1 of the highest inflation rates in the European Union, but besides 1 of the deepest declines in GDP dynamics. At least with respect to the quarterly dynamics with which we have had any statistical problems recently – informs Business Insider.

Lithuania (+2.9%), followed by Slovenia (+1.4%) and Greece, recorded the highest GDP growth compared to the erstwhile quarter. The largest declines were observed in Poland (2.2%), Sweden (0.8%) and Austria (0.7%). – said Eurostat as quoted by the BI.

Quarterly GDP growth in the second 4th of 2023 (proc.)

According to estimates submitted by the Central Statistical Office, Polish GDP in the second 4th decreased “only” by 2.2 percent.

This means that Poland's GDP is beginning to decline – according to the latest GUS data. In addition, this decline is very advanced against the background of the EU. But it is worth remembering that we are falling off a advanced horse – explains Radosław Dietrich of the economical Observer.
