A press conference of the talker of the Sejm, Minister of National Defence and Minister of Funds and Regional Policy was held in the Sejm on Friday. According to the head of MON Poland, “it must be ready for any scenario”.

“Poland must be ready for any scenario, it must arm itself, build strength and social resilience,” said Deputy Prime Minister, head of the MON Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish.

As the head of the MON says – Poland operates by 3 vectors; keep Russia as far distant as possible, build a strong transatlantic alliance and strengthen Europe. Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasizes that he and Szymon Holovnia are active in national safety activities.

PLN 30 billion for the safety and Defence Fund

The Marshal of the Sejm spoke of creation Security and Defence Fund 30 billion PLN from the opposition fund with KPO. It is intended to support very circumstantial projects that increase the safety of Poland.

– They'll be there. additional money for the defence industry, for civilian protection to build shelters. It will be additional money for investigation development, i.e. investigation in the field of military technologies. They will yet be dual usage technologies, i.e. those that are applicable for wartime and peacetime,” says Holownia.
