On social media, the head of the General Staff of the Polish Army General Wiesław Kukuła informed about the decision. He stressed that the choice of the Polish commander to lead Allied NATO Force Command in Brunssum (Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum – JFC-B) is an unprecedented event in the past of the Polish army. As General Kukuła pointed out: “This is an crucial proof of trust in the Polish Army and our defence efforts!”.
