Almost half of Poles believe that Karol Nawrocki will not become independent of PiS and Jarosław Kaczyński. The latest polls show that a clear division is besides visible among right-wing voters.
On August 6, Karol Nawrocki was officially sworn into office as President. erstwhile president of the Institute of National Memory ran in elections with the support of the Law and Justice. In his staff there are many PiS politicians, including Marcin Przycz or Paweł Sziernaker.
During the PiS campaign, it continued to inform that Nawrocki was an independent candidate, and the organization only supported him. Many voters powerfully doubted these declarations and accused the president of being besides dependent on this group.
Voters chose
United Surveys commissioned by Virtual Poland asked Poles whether Nawrocki would be able to become independent of the influence of the organization and Jarosław Kaczyński. According to 38.8% of respondents, "this is possible" and only 8.2% of people indicated the answer "yes definitely". The other was 57.6% of respondents.
Nawrocki's independency is not peculiarly believed by ruling coalition voters. 80% of them thought the president would be dependent on the party. As for PiS voters, 52% say it will be independent of organization influence.
