The Bible’s mention to the patriarch Enoch became the nucleus of a tradition that developed in both judaic and Christian environments, according to which he was a man of direct contact with God, endowed with exceptional cognition and skill.

According to the Masonic tradition, Enoch had a cognition of God’s indisputable name, which he carved on a triangular plate of gold and hid in an underground temple. It was found in King Solomon’s day and laid in a crypt under his temple. This communicative is 1 of the most first fruits of Judeo-Christian mysticism.
