Under the innocent slogan “health education”, the government is trying to introduce something much more dangerous to schools – a program for sexualizing children and young people. Minister Barbara Nowacka knows very well that the word “health” inspires trust, so she has packed in them content that is truly meant to change the way the young generation thinks about family, love and responsibility.
This is simply a well-known method: first innocent slogans and "lightly released doors", then consistent border shifting. This was the case in another countries where the first subject was "women's rights" or "partner unions", and ended with the promotion of abortion, the redefining of matrimony and the adoption of children by single-sex couples. The fresh item is simply a gateway to the same script in Poland.
Education or sex?
The fresh programming basis departs from the pro-family model of upbringing and presents the child's sexuality as a medical problem, not moral or educational one. This means in practice affirmation:
- experimenting with your own sex identity,
- casual sexual relations,
- masturbation,
- gender ideology and alleged reproductive health.
Should the school truly rise children in the spirit of specified content alternatively than support their household and show the value of lasting, liable love?
Language manipulation
It is not by accident called "health education". Just as abortion is referred to as "reproductive health", the words that are intended to lull vigilance have been utilized here. If anyone objects, the question is immediately: “Are you against the wellness of children?” This is typical semantic manipulation – alternatively of substantive discussion, we have emotional blackmail.
What does the law say?
Parents in this case are not defenseless.
Constitution of the Republic of Poland, Article 48:
"Parents have the right to rise their children according to their own beliefs".
Constitution of the Polish Republic, Article 53(3):
"Parents have the right to supply children with education and moral and spiritual teaching according to their beliefs".
Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 26(3):
"Parents have the right of precedence in choosing the kind of teaching to be given to their children".
This is clear: it is parents, not the state, who decide what content regarding sexuality will be passed on to their children.
What do studies and experiences from another countries show?
In countries where early sexual education was introduced, the number of sexual initiations among teenagers and juvenile pregnancies increased.
Research by the American College of Pediatricians shows that besides early sexualizing children increases the hazard of depression, identity problems and exposes them to exploitation.
Psychologists inform that children learned besides early about intimate matters become more prone to adult manipulation.
Poland is experiencing a demographic crisis, alternatively of supporting families and liable parenting, the government wants to introduce an ideology that undermines natural household ties. alternatively of strengthening the foundations, it proposes “pluralism of experience” and moral relativism.
What can parents do?
Most important: by 25 September parents have the right to discharge their children from the “health education” classes. Just make an application to the school head (preferably in writing, with confirmation of receipt). If the school tries to discourage – it is worth referring to the Constitution and the right of parents to rise children according to their own beliefs.
