This morning, a train of people from Białystok-Warsaw collided around Witowo (Podlaskie) with 3 bison standing on the tracks. According to the service, the passengers on the train were fine.
The incidental of Intercity "Żubr" train with animals occurred after 7.00 present in the vicinity of Witowo, located between Hajnówka and Czeremcha – informed the on-call station of the management of the Podlaskie Provincial Commandant of PSP in Białystok.
Train traffic has been halted. PKP Intercity reported in the communication on its website that due to the hold of the ‘Żubr’ train, travellers were allowed to travel and agreed to honour the train of the Mazowieckie Railways.
