Officers of the Bieszczady Border defender Branch at the crossing in Medica, Podkarpacie prevented the effort to export parts from respective stolen motorcycles to Ukraine.
The components worth over 250 1000 PLN were transported by a 34-year-old Ukrainian citizen. – Officer SG and the service dog checked the cargo space of a bus led by a 34-year-old. Among many packages, motorcycle elements wrapped in foil and 2 almost complete vehicles were revealed – he added.
After verification in the databases, it was established that the parts came from BMW, Ducati, KTM, Suzuki and Kawasaki motorcycles. Their theft was reported in Germany, in 1 case only a period earlier.
The vehicle driver and the secured parts have been handed over to the police, who will carry out further activities in this case.
