More tactical classes in the field, e-learning, a fresh qualification expression and final exam – a pilot basic sub-commander course for professional privates is taking place at the Sub-Chief School. The lecturers want to examine fresh solutions that are better prepared to prepare the school graduates for changing conditions of the battlefield.
The pilot base course in Poznań began in mid-February. And although courses that pave the way to the corps of officers are organized from the beginning activities of the School of the Infantry of the Land ArmyThis time it is about checking fresh training solutions and adapting the education strategy to the needs of changing battlefields. New program developed by the General Staff of the Polish Army it takes longer and even more emphasis on gaining the skills of the commander, improving expertise and developing leadership features.

The pilot edition attracted soldiers of various specialities from units across the country. There were 2 curious people per place. Soldiers have, among others, fire training, tactics, planning and command, training in field medicine, survival, and military leadership. As the spokesperson points out, the top amount of time has been devoted to tactical issues and command to prepare the future enlisted officers for action in the realities of the modern battlefield.
Drones on course.
A support squad was formed at the Podoficer's School of the Land Forces, which participates in the implementation of modern trainings for future officers. During the class, students can combine conventional methods of operation and usage equipment based on modern technologies, specified as unmanned aircraft (BSP). Thanks to the usage of drones, they can constantly analyse the situation, conduct reconnaissance of the site and plan actions more effectively. Classes last 8–10 hours, sometimes are besides held on Saturdays.
