SAFE (Security Action For Europe) is simply a program adopted by the European Union at the end of May 2025, allowing associate states to get up to €150 billion in low-interest loans for the acquisition of military equipment and armaments, with a deadline of 2030. The largest beneficiary of the programme is Poland, which has been allocated EUR 43.7 billion, i.e. over PLN 180 billion. Currently, after being adopted by the Sejm and the Senate, the act introducing the Financial Instrument for expanding Security, a tool for the implementation of SAFE, is on the desk of president Karol Nawrocki.
