Plant for the production of lithium-ion batteries for Italian submarines

On July 16, a fresh plant was opened in the Italian town of Piedimonte San Germano in the Lazio region, where lithium-ion batteries (LIB) will be produced for the U212NFS (Near Future Submarine) submarines presently being built for the Italian Marina Militare.
