When writing for children, I don't pretend there's no war

"So I can't say it would be large if all our children went to safety. Where is it, anyway? After all, we are not on the verge of the 3rd planet War – it is already on. It started with Ukraine and will develop. That's why it's very hard to tell if there are any more safe places on Earth," says Yulita Ran, writer, activist, author of children's books.
