In the latest past of Polish masonry we besides meet representatives of the literary planet – writers, poets and essayists. any of them permanently entered both the native literature and the "royal art". In this sketch I present the silhouettes of respective of them, paying more attention to the little known or presently forgotten.

In the interwar period, the most celebrated writer-mason was Andrzej Strug, actually Tadeusz Gałecki (1871-1937). He joined the Order before 1916. After regaining his independence, he became active in the reconstruction of the masonry, since 1920 he belonged to 1 of Warsaw's lodges: the large National Lodge (he accepted the "religious name" (organizational pseudonym) Stanisław Borszowski. From 1921 to 1923 he held the dignity of the Grand Master of the large National Lodge, and from 1920 to 1929 the Grand Commander of the ultimate Council of Poland. In 1929, he suspended his membership ("he fell asleep"). His works include more celebrated ones. Underground people, 1908, The communicative of 1 bullet, 1910, She could have been an unknown soldier., 1922, Generation of Mark Swidza, 1925, Fortune of the Cashier of the Singer1928 or Yellow Cross, 1932. In his work he besides subtracted Masonic issues, specified as in Chimerer of 1918 or Forget Island, which in the episodes appeared in “Polish Courier” in 1921, and its book edition did not come out until 1962. I mention those curious in his character to work by Anna Kargol: Strug. The measurement of everything is man. The popular author "in a apron" was besides Juliusz Kaden Bandrowski (1885-1944) – Secretary General of the Polish Academy of Literature (1933-1939). He was admitted to freemasonry in the first half of the 1920s, accepted the spiritual name Wacław Woronko. After any time he was "sleeped" (suspended in the rights of a member), in 1926 (at the turn of May and June) "wake", restored to active membership and then in March 1928 again "sleeped". His most celebrated books include: General Barcz, 1922, Black Wings1928 or Matthew Bigda, 1933.

It is besides not possible to ignore the doctor, educator and author Janusz Korczak, Henry Goldszmit (1878–1942). He was initiated no later than 1925 in the lodge...
