Danuta Holecka, the host of “News” TVP, announced that Donald Tusk's speech proved to be a failure of the opposition: the statistic were to be distorted and the march was to be based on hatred. Journalists in the crowd had talks with participants in the march, but only those statements were issued that were critical of the current power. There were no shortages of images with banners calling for the removal of PiS and Jarosław Kaczyński from the offices, although as we know from our live coverage, the slogans preached were much more varied.

Donald Tusk announced during the march that he had gathered a million participants. The news reporter TVP did not share his opinion and provided unofficial data to the police, according to which about 100,000 people attended the march. However, as we can find out, Onet portal estimated that attendance ranged from 600 to 800,000 people. It's a large difference.
At this point, we can besides mention to Jarosław Kaczyński's statement. During the convention in Katowice, PiS president stated that there were 60,000 citizens at Donald Tusk's march, which was to consequence again from police statements and photographs. The full event held in Warsaw described it as manipulation, and Tuska and the full opposition accused lies.
