The Confederation of the Polish Crown present announced the creation of its own parliamentary ellipse in the Sejm. This is simply a step that strengthens the political position of Grzegorz Braun's group on the parliamentary stage. The formation was joined by a fresh MP, Sławomir Zawislak, a long-standing parliamentarian and erstwhile associate of the Law and Justice Club.
During the press conference, the spokesperson for Marta Czech informed that Zawislak, alongside Members of Włodzimierz Skalik and Roman Fritz, would become a co-founder of the fresh parliamentary ellipse of the Confederation of the Polish Crown.

Who is Sławomir Zawiślak?
Sławomir Zawisłak is an experienced politician who has been in the Sejm continuously since 2005. Born in 1963 in Krasnobrod, an educated historian and postgraduate of Executive MBA, he was associated with the PiS for years. Since 1998, he has been active in the Kombatant communities, including as president of the Zamość territory of the planet Union of National Army Soldiers.
In his political career, he repeatedly won a parliamentary mandate in the Chelm district. He besides ran for the European Parliament and ran for president Zamość's seat without success. In 2020, he was suspended in the rights of a associate of the PiS for breaking club discipline in a vote on the Animal Protection Act. Eventually, in 2025 he left the PiS club and went to the Confederation of the Polish Crown.
Zawiślak's transition to Braun's group is simply a clear signal of political shuffling in the right-wing parliamentary scene. The parliamentary ellipse of the Confederation of the Polish Crown formalises the presence of this formation in the Sejm and may mean more influence on debates and legislative work.
