63 days. 63 days of heroism. And we remember them.
Today we were at the cemetery - this is already the 11th action of cleaning the graves of the Heroes of the Warsaw Uprising in Piotrków Trybunalski! We're here to be They owe it to them to light candles, clear their graves and say,
We haven't forgotten.
Children light up at the graves.
Adults wash their records and hang white and red sash, due to the fact that memory is work too.
Here are those who were 17 in 1944 and went to fight.
Here are those who did not live to see free Poland and those who could see it
I'm sorry.
Look at these pictures.
Little hands that ignite candles.
Adults who thin over graves.
On the sash: "63 days of the Warsaw Uprising".
Because that's the point.
Not just August 1st.
Every day.
We remember.
And we're on.
