Pork criticized for participating in Tusk's march. Should it be apolitical?

Owsiak stressed the importance of this gathering for Poles and encouraged the vote on 15 October. The president of the WOŚP Foundation besides addressed words to women, encouraging them to participate in the elections.

We'll have 2 hours or more to talk to each other, to grin at each other, to see each other. Fuel for PiS?

Opinions on Jerzy Owsiak's participation in Donald Tusk's task are alternatively divided. Michał Danielewski, who is the Vice-President of the OKO.Press, believes that:

Jerzy Owsiak is not the head of a public institution, he is not the head of the State Treasury company, he is not the head of the public media. What he does and how he participates in public life takes exclusively on his chest and his cost. And he has all right to do so.

However, any Poles were dissatisfied with his participation in a march organized by the Civic Coalition. The writer of Virtual Poland, Łukasz Maziewski, belonged to people who openly expressed their disapproval. Maziewski pointed out that he respects Owsiak's activities and always participates in WOŚP collections, but at the same time he does not like that Owsiak engages in a organization of a one-sided political character.

Tomasz Żółciak, writer of the “Journal of Legal Newspapers”, replied to Maziewski's comment, expressing his opinion on this substance as well. The writer believes that Oatsiak's presence on phase and the WOŚP billboard run is simply a "fuel for the PiS" that claims that funds for sick children went to the opposition campaign. It is worth mentioning here, for example, the twitter post by Janusz Cieszynski, who is practicing specified a narrative.

I agree with Michał Danielewski here. Oatsiak as a public individual has the right to talk on certain subjects, presenting his views. However, it must be borne in head that this is not the case for discussion. Virtually all public individual – musicians, actors, youtubers – has certain political sympathy. The question is whether in certain situations it is worth flaunting with them.

I just mean that in the case of a vocalist who has millions of fans, most of those fans focus on her work. In a word, they like her music. They do not necessarily want to hear from her about what to do with the PiS party. At least Sanah, whom Andrzej Saramonovich accused of "singing about bullshit", is worth clinging to. The same Saramonovich, who only a fewer months ago resented Kaczmarski's daughter, that this slurring his good name due to the fact that it reveals his violent tendencies. For any artists, the sign of rebellion is going on phase and shouting the slogan hiding under 8 stars. But it's not mutiny, it's fashion. possibly it's better not to do it?

But let's go back to George Owsiak. Disapproval of his participation in the Million Hearts March is not the first time he has been accused of political unilaterality. We fought it many years ago. I remember the Woodstock festival being opened by Bronisław Komorski. I besides remember how in 2017 1 of the guests of this festival was Robert Biedron. The Mayor of Kostrzyn explained at the time that "Woodstock is as apolitical as possible". I don't truly realize the assurance. possibly if something is to be apolitical, let's just not invitation politicians to this event.

As a result, WOŚP and Woodstock lost PR, and not only in my eyes. due to the fact that yes, I am able to participate in these initiatives, but the thought of unanimity and being above political divisions here simply does not work.
