Melinda Simmons, the fresh UK Ambassador to Poland, gave the first interview for Polish media – “Super Express” and the Defence Portal.
The interview was held in"Garda" program – Defence Portal video format, which includes extended analytical interviews with politicians, experts, military and defence manufacture representatives on key safety issues, modernisation of armed forces and geopolitics. The conversation was led by Jan Zlotorovich. In an exclusive interview by Melinda Simmson She referred to Ukraine's determination to fight Russia and stressed that triumph depended on the consistent support of allies. The Ambassador besides stressed the request to strengthen European defence capabilities, make Polish-British cooperation and the request to respond to a broad spectrum of Russian hybrid activities. She besides pointed out that the unity of the West remains crucial, and that peace must come from the decision of Ukraine itself.

Dame Melinda Simmonsis an experienced British diplomat and state authoritative with extended experience in global development, conflict resolution and national security. Prior to her journey to the facilities, she directed work in conflict, stabilisation and improvement assistance areas in the UK administration. She was born in London to a household of Polish, Lithuanian and Ukrainian roots, which she repeatedly emphasized in public speeches.
