During the ceremony of receiving the first “home Rysia” appeared, among others, Minister of Defence of Hungary Kristóf Szlay-Bobrovniczky, Head of Rheinmetall Vehicle Systems Europe Dr Björn Bernhard and Paul Walf serving as CEO of Rheinmetall Hungary. The vehicle transferred to the army drove off the production line [at the end of last year](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/Hungarian-German-bwp-from-national-factory) and by that time it had been subjected to rigorous tests with the intention of delivering to the recipient in the mediate of this year. The plant itself producing these wagons occupies an area of 33 hectares and is part of the industrial complex ZLAZone. Its creation will contribute to the creation of an additional 300 highly skilled jobs, and in Rheinmetall's plans it intends to further increase this number to over 400, as well as the capacity of the full plant.
