Nine classrooms, nursery rooms, locker rooms, bathrooms... – this is what the temporary school looks like in the water-damaged Iron in Lower Silesia. present the first bell sounded in the facility, which was helped to build, among others, the territorials. Iron is 1 of the most susceptible places in the country. As a consequence of the cataclysm, roads and many buildings were destroyed, among them the Private Primary School, which included 140 students. For this reason, any of them could not survey on a permanent basis. Until today. On Wednesday, for the first time, a bell sounded on the halls of the temporary school.

However, a temporary school could not have been established if it had not been for the WOT soldiers. It was they who arranged the area, hardened it and restored the close parking lot and playground, and helped to carry and set furniture in individual rooms. all day there were dozens of military operations at the construction site.

Agata Kulczak, headmaster of the school in Żelaź, speaking of the fresh school does not hide emotion. We couldn't have done it on our own. The soldiers of the territorial defence troops gave their full heart here, and private companies funded these containers and their equipment. It is thanks to all these wonderful people that children can sit in school benches again – he says. General Krzysztof Stańczyk, WOT commander and Operation Feniks are besides satisfied with the soldiers' work. “I am arrogant of them and I am glad that the children will be able to learn freely now,” she notes.

Students from Iron will have lessons at the temporary school until the destroyed by the flood the building is renovated. However, this does not mean that WOT soldiers completed their mission in Kłodzko Municipality.
