The first Centauri II reached Brazil

One of the 2 Centuro IIs arrived on Brazilian dirt on 17 August, erstwhile a vehicle with a previously received painting characteristic of its army left on its own “wheels” board of a transport ship. This wagon was stopped in June by the German customs office in Hamburg. The reasons for this decision were bureaucratic issues and media coverage that Germany was to express concerns about respect for human rights in Brazil. In particular, there is simply a possible usage of Centauri II for repression in the country. Berlin decided to impose an embargo on the transport of a vehicle utilizing components manufactured in Germany. At the end of July, the embargo on transport of the first car was to be abolished.
