Pension contributions collected in the Social Insurance Institution are not in rule inheritable. However, the exception to this regulation is the appropriations on the sub-account. Like those that are accounted for in the Open Pension Fund, the money from the subaccount is inherited - in the event of the death of a individual whose pension contributions concerned. ZUS will pay them out to the heirs, but erstwhile they make a request.
