Political populism and passing the fact in Poland are unfortunately a uncommon phenomenon. erstwhile immense money is involved, emotions grow. It is so no wonder that the words of the minister for the European Union and the spokesperson for the government raised suspicion. His message with reality collided Demagog.
Adam Trapka didn't lie, he told the truth. Poland can get a immense injection of EU cash
Demagoga, who specializes in verifying the information of politicians, checked the draft multiannual budget of the European Union, the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) for the period 2028–2034. Its outline was adopted by the European Commission on 16 July 2025, and 2 days later, Adam Szpiek informed the details.
"The European Commission present showed figures in the budget proposal for the next 7 years. The highest number of 123 billion euros is to be paid... Poland" – he informed then in the entry on the X Polish politician. Turns out he was right.
Nearly 48% of the EU budget, which will amount to EUR 2 trillion, will go to the associate States. Money will be spent primarily on agriculture, cohesion, maritime and home affairs. As much as EUR 123.3 billion of this amount is to be paid to Poland. This is the highest amount in the full Union. The second order of France will be EUR 90.1 billion.
Money for Poland from the EU is not yet certain. 2 more decisions are needed
However, before we start sharing EU money, we will gotta wait for the budget to be approved. In order for this multiannual plan to enter into force, 2 more consents are needed. The draft will now be discussed by the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament.
In order for the draft to become an existing budget, the Council must vote unanimously. The European Parliament will later support it. Only then will it enter into force.
