Maria Szpakowska: Rzeczpospolita:“From drones to cognitive war. What Poland teaches the war in Ukraine”“During the debate on the MSPO, it was discussed how the war in Ukraine changes the battlefield and what Poland teaches. Participants talked about evolution: drones, information struggles and cyberspace, not the technological revolution. How crucial it is to rapidly increase production capacity and simplify supply chains and fight economy: inexpensive drones versus costly rockets. Unmanned marine units and anti-drone systems change activities at sea; satellite designation reduces consequence time. For Poland, it is crucial to defend the land in support of air and cyber, to combine armored forces, engineering forces and air defense, and to defend the state. The cognitive war is trying to weaken morale and public support.”
