Philippines strengthens presence in South China Sea to ward off Beijing

Philippine authorities ordered its military to increase its presence in the South China Sea on Thursday 29 December 2022 citing a threat in disputed waters close a strategical island belonging to the Philippines, CNN Philippines reports.
