On 14-15 November 2024, a nationwide exhibition and conference of the Prison Service took place, during which companies of the Polish Armed Forces Group presented the latest technological solutions dedicated to uniformed services. The event brought together representatives of many institutions and manufacture experts, providing an excellent chance to share experience and discuss security-supported innovations.
At Stand No. 11 at the PZZ Fair Hall, it gathered the products of 4 companies that form part of the group. The offer was presented by: PCO S.A., “Łucznik” weapon mill Radom Sp. z o.o., Mechanical Plant “Tarnów” S.A. and the “Maskpol” S.A. safety Equipment Company. Each company presented solutions that could importantly affect the safety and effectiveness of uniformed services.
PCO S.A. presented advanced optoelectronic technologies, specified as the latest night imagination goggles PNL–2ADM, the modular night imagination set MZN-1, the MT1 thermovision monocular, as well as sights and binoculars noto and thermal vision. Modern night imagination and thermal equipment has attracted interest from guests, especially officers for whom adequate technological support is essential in implementing operations under hard conditions.
The “Łuknik” Radom weapon mill presented various versions of MSBS GROT rifles, which have been equipping the Polish army and another uniformed services for years. The models in the classical and non-collar layout, available in various calibers and versions adapted to circumstantial operational needs, have been of peculiar interest. Additionally, the presented VIS 100 and VIS 100 M1 guns confirmed their value as reliable defence and intervention tools.
The Mechanical Plant “Tarnów” presented an innovative solution in the form of the Indoor Mobile Shooting Center in containers and modern device guns. The mobile shooting scope has attracted interest as an effective training tool, allowing you to execute exercises anywhere and at any time, regardless of the weather conditions.
Maskpol S.A., specializing in the manufacture of protective equipment, presented ballistic vests, helmets and protective masks. Among them were models popular among uniformed services specified as stone ONE, stone 3.0 and MP-6 masks, which warrant the highest level of protection and comfort of use.
During the fair, many people representing various uniformed institutions and services visited the stand of the Polish Armed Forces Group. Among them were Minister of Justice Maria Ejchart, and General manager of Prison Service, Colonel Andrzej Pecka. This was an chance to present the offer of PGZ and discuss the anticipation of cooperation in the area of retrofitting services with modern equipment. The talks focused on key aspects of safety and challenges facing officers in their regular service.
Additionally, there was besides a gathering of the Polish Armed Forces Group with representatives of the Border Guard, which afraid the possible retrofit of this service. During the talks, the requirements and needs of the Border defender were discussed, as well as the possibilities of applying modern technologies offered by PGZ companies. "Modern technologies and reliable equipment are the foundations for the safety of our uniformed services. We are pleased that as the Polish Armed Forces Group we can support their regular service, providing solutions that not only increase efficiency, but besides increase the level of protection of officers," said Jakub Olkowicz, Deputy manager of the Sales Office of PGZ S.A.
The participation of the Polish Armed Forces Group in the Prison Service Fair was an excellent chance to present advanced solutions and technologies that could truly support the activities of Polish uniformed services. Meetings with representatives of various services confirmed the importance of modern equipment in ensuring the safety of officers and citizens. The fair was besides a confirmation of PGZ's commitment to ensuring the highest quality and safety standards, as well as readiness to further make the offer in consequence to the needs of the services.
