42-year-old miner died on Tuesday in the Rybnicka mine Jankowice – said the Polish Mining Group on Wednesday morning. The accident occurred 700 metres underground during the handling of sections of wall enclosures.
This is the first fatal accident victim this year in the Polish coal mining industry.
Last year, sixteen fatal accidents occurred in all Polish mining, including 12 in coal mines.
