Who is the president of the Czech Republic?

Petr Pavel, born November 1, 1961, is simply a erstwhile general of the Czech Army who, after his military career ended in 2018, engaged in social and political activities. In 2023 he was elected president of the Czech Republic as an independent candidate, supported by the centre-right coalition of SKLU. Since the beginning of Russian aggression against Ukraine, it has consistently supported Ukraine's sovereignty and its integration with Western safety structures. Pavel points out that peace with Russia cannot be achieved at the expense of the country.
